What is Oral Surgery?
Progressive Implantology & Periodontics and Dr Andrew Bracci offer oral surgery procedures including tooth removal, wisdom tooth removal and dental implants. We are proud to offer a personal and caring dental experience.
Our goal is always to help you preserve your natural teeth but if the pain is significant, or the tooth is beyond repair, it may be best to extract a tooth instead of trying to preserve it. Grafting maybe recommended to preserve the shape and contour of the area, and dental implants to restore your function and esthetics. We offer local anesthesia (a numbing shot) to prevent discomfort, along with sedation to relax you when necessary. Our dental specialists will work with your restorative dentist to restore your beautiful smile.
Dental Implant Can Replace a Missing Tooth or Teeth
Listen to our Dentist discuss the importance oral surgery can play for so may patients and the role it plays in our patient's dental and overall health as well as the importance a expert oral surgeon plays in restorative procedures.
Wisdom teeth removal is a very common procedure, generally performed under local anesthesia or sedation in our office by Dr. Bracci. This procedure is performed to eliminate an active problem or as a preventative measure to avoid complications in the future. You will be released with post-operative instructions and medication (if necessary) to help manage any swelling and/or discomfort.
Making our patients feel comfortable is a top priority for us. We understand that some patients may feel apprehensive about getting the dental care they need or want. That's why our periodontists and oral surgeon are certified in various forms of sedation dentistry. Some options include oral sedation or IV sedation. Sedation dentistry is safe and effective providing comfortable care that specifically meets your needs.
I'm so happy I did this, I'm so happy I made the decision, I am so happy I did not delay...my teeth feel good and I will never take them for granted again.Nancy Ferrari
